Get ready for a weekend of colourful skies and family fun at the Kite Festival hosted by the Essex Wildlife Trust at The Naze Nature Discovery Centre. This spectacular event features large kites from the East Anglian Kite Flyers and is perfect for families, children, and adults alike.

• Dates: Saturday, July 27th, 2024, and Sunday, July 28th, 2024
• Time: 10 AM – 4 PM each day
• Location: Essex Wildlife Trust The Naze Nature Discovery Centre
• Duration: 6 hours per day

Festival Highlights:

• Spectacular Kite Displays: Enjoy stunning aerial displays by the East Anglian Kite Flyers.
• Kite Workshops: Decorate and fly your own kite for £7. Workshops run throughout both days with the following timeslots:
  • 10:00 – 10:45
  • 10:45 – 11:30
  • 11:30 – 12:15
  • 12:45 – 1:30
  • 1:30 – 2:15
  • 2:15 – 3:00
  • 3:00 – 3:45
